NEW Age Criteria from 2010 onwards

Example 1: In the 19 and under category for 2010, a player may be 19 or under for the entire year but may not turn 20 during that year being 2010.
Example 2: In the 30 and over category for 2010, a player must be 30 or older before the first day of 2010.

BYE LAWS
Please note that as a Kwazulu Natal Action Cricket Player there are certain rules and regulations that you should familiarize yourself with.

a) 2 League games must be played prior to Trials and 6 games prior to tournament.
b) Players selected for IPTs, are to continue playing league or forfeit their position in the team.

IPT PAYMENT FROM PLAYERS

  • A Registration / Administration Fee of R30.00 per player is payable on registration.
  • A non-refundable R500-00 per player is to be paid on the day of selection for selected players.

Managers, Coaches, kit, accommodation, game fees, and transport will be paid for by the players. Any form of sponsorship is allowed. Any person or company prepared to sponsor a team’s kit may have branding on the kit providing there is sufficient time for the branding to be done.

The balance of money owing for IPTs is to be paid by the stipulated date or the player’s position will be forfeited.

PRACTICES
Selected players are expected to attend all compulsory training sessions. Failure to do so will jeopardise their position in the team. All coaches must advise players of all compulsory practices at the start of the training programme.

CONDUCT
All players, representatives and spectators are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner relating to the ethics of the province, both on and off the court.

WITHDRAWAL
Any provincial player withdrawing from their selected teams within one month before tournament may ( depending the outcome of a disciplinary hearing ) be suspended at the discretion of the KZN Arenas for a period of up to two years.

Players not attending compulsory practices, meeting their financial commitments or any other concerns expressed by the Manager and/or Coach, will be withdrawn from the side.

This may only be done if the Manager and/or Coach lodges an official complaint with the KZN Arenas and is not less than one month before the IPT tournament. Any other decisions regarding withdrawals or replacements from a B side or the reserves will only be made after a meeting has been held with all the KZN Arena Owners, Managers, Coaches and Selectors.

GENERAL

  • Players having outstanding monies may not attend trials
  • Any Player pending disciplinary action may not attend trials
  • Any Player suspended may not attend trials
  • No non-participants or children may be allowed on tour with the provincial parties, unless co-opted as an official by the team Coach and the Executive Committee
  • All players, coaches and managers will be required to stay at the selected hotel/s whether IPT’s are held in Kwa-zulu Natal or any other province
